All the recipes in this section are considered raw foods, which are uncooked, unprocessed and often organic in nature. In general, raw foods are those that can be heated or warmed, but not above 115 degrees. The benefits of a raw food diet includes a higher level intake of natural nutrients and enzymes; maintaining a healthier weight, digestion and skin; having more energy; reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases; and reducing and/or eliminating chronic disease symptoms.
